Famous for its spring azaleas,
the autumn foliage is also spectacular.
Constructed during the Edo period, the main hall and Karamon gate remain,
and the temple has been designated an Important Cultural Property.
The large ginkgo tree near the Senbon Torii gates
is at its best in late November.
The autumn leaves within the temple grounds, changing into various colors, are a spectacular sight.
