I visited Iriya Kishimojin in Iriya, Tokyo ☺️
This shrine is cherished as a deity for safe childbirth and child-rearing and is one of the temples and shrines that make up the Shitaya Seven Lucky Gods.
It is also believed to grant blessings for good health, protection from illness, and recovery from diseases.
The deity is said to have transformed from a demon that once ate children into a protector of children, making it a revered guardian for families.
The place had a very serene and atmospheric vibe.
