🌋East Java is amazingly beautiful! 🇮🇩

I enjoyed every bit of this adventure - it was affordable, and the views were absolutely worth the hikes and early starts.

Day 1:
• Madakaripura Waterfall
Stay: Bromo Terrace Hotel & Resto
Eat: Bawangan Bromo Hotel & Resto

Day 2: (started our day at 2.30am)
• Sunrise point at King Kong Hill (only jeeps can access the roads there, and you get some cool pics as well)
• Hike Mt. Bromo
Stay: Urbanview B Syariah Lumajang

Day 3:
• Tumpaksewu Waterfall
• Goa Tetes Cave
Stay: ljen View Hotel & Resort

Day 4: (started our day at 11.30pm the PREVIOUS day, slept at 6pm to make it to ljen before sunrise)

• Hike Mt. Ijen - there's the option to hike down to see a naturally occuring blue fire, but there were too many people on that day, making the narrow path down quite dangerous. We opted to climb a little higher to catch the sunrise instead - it was so beautiful and serene with most of the crowd trying to catch the blue fire.
