This short trip to Yilan took us to Toucheng, a beautiful town where you can see Guishan Island and is full of local human touch. From the beach to the streets, every place is like a microcosm of slow living. What impressed me most was standing in the Binhai Park and looking out at the Guishan Island lying quietly on the sea! That scene is really healing, perfect for just staring at the sea 💙

📍 Coastal Park & ​​Waiao Beach: Great viewing point for Guishan Island
When the weather is good, you can clearly see the outline of Guishan Island, and with the sound of waves and the gentle sea breeze, it's like pressing the pause button in the city. You can also see surfers gliding freely on the sea. It is a great place to relax and take photos.

📸 Tips
Bring a shirt or a straw hat and pair it with the seaside scenery for great photos!

🧡 If you also want to find a place not far from Taipei where you can see the sea, mountains, and Guishan Island, Toucheng is really worth it!
