🍵 Nakamura Fujiyoshi has two branches in Uji, the main store and the branch are only 15-20 minutes away, both stores also retain the architectural characteristics of Japanese gardens, waiting for seating and dining space also has an antique atmosphere.
It should be noted that the Uji Byodo-in shop is operated in a self-service manner, and some food styles are only available in our shop. What's more special is that only our shop uses bamboo tubes for desserts, but the Byodo-in shop can see the Uji River view
We arrived at the Uji main store around 3:30 to pick up our tickets and wait for a seat. We waited for about an hour and a half before we could sit down before closing🙈
After sitting down, a set of tea sets will be provided, and there is a small card to teach us how to brew tea

🥢まるとパフェ[Matcha] ¥1750
This is matcha parfait, using a bamboo cylinder to serve, instead of the usual parfait commonly used tall thin glass cup ~ When served, there is also a small card introducing the rich ingredients inside, cream, matcha raw tea ice, brown rice grains, lemon sauce, red beans, white jade and matcha ice cream, etc., because many different ingredients, not only matcha flavor, taste is very layered ~ Especially added lemon sauce and brown rice grains, lemon sauce is a little sour, eat more refreshing, and brown rice grains a little salty, but no sense of disharmony 🤩 ~
Matcha dessert can be served with drinks, expensive about ¥500, we also ordered a hot matcha latte, matcha taste sweet and rich, light matcha with milk foam, not too sweet💚

I also ordered hojicha and matcha raw tea ice cream, because these two are exclusive to our shop🫢
Both raw tea ice creams are served with red bean puree, white jade and tea ice cream😍 The raw tea ice cream has a rich tea flavor, the tea is delicate and sweet🤤
Personally, I prefer hojicha ice cream, because the tea flavor is very layered, with a slight sweetness🤎
