Flower Heaven

#springitinerary Mimurotoji Temple is such a chill spot, especially in spring and early summer. If you're into flowers, this place is basically paradise. The whole area is covered in hydrangeas, and they go absolutely wild when they’re in season, like, full-on flower explosion. There’s also a beautiful garden with lotus flowers, and the whole thing just feels super peaceful and fresh.

The temple itself is pretty, with a calming vibe and some cool statues scattered around. You can wander the paths, snap a ton of photos, and just enjoy being surrounded by nature. It's not usually packed, so you actually get to breathe and take your time. It’s a little bit outside of central Kyoto, but honestly, that just makes it more peaceful. Great spot to slow down, clear your head, and enjoy the flowers. Bring comfy shoes and maybe a snack, you’ll wanna hang out for a while.
