Days and Nights at Wakayama Castle

Wakayama has large areas of forests. The "Wakayama Castle" in the city center is one of the top 100 famous castles in Japan. It was built by the famous general Toyotomi Hideyoshi during the Warring States Period and was rebuilt after being bombed during World War II.
Because the schedule was too tight, we were fortunate to have high-quality accommodation. We could see the complete and magnificent mountain city from the window, enjoy the day and night scenery, and eat the famous Kono tofu and sour plums. I was very satisfied.
It is worth mentioning that there is a "Limousine Bus" from Wakayama Station to Kansai Airport. The fastest journey takes only 40 minutes, but please be aware that the buses are sparse.
