The Wild Wild West (Yangshuo)

Getting There - Didi/Taxi. Most hotels offer shuttle services. Just ask to go to West Street or get a scooter and follow your map.

Attractions - Lights. People. Food. Photos

Hotels - There are many hotels on West Street but I’m not sure I would stay there as it could be very noisy at night. I would recommend finding a hotel on the outskirts of downtown. We stayed at New West Street International Hotel and then moved to The Bamboo Leaf.

Food & Restaurants - Be sure to visit Rosewood Cafe for their delicious apple pie. Lucy’s has great Chinese food and she speaks English for those who need it. There is a Starbucks by the river with 3 floors. A great Indian restaurant called Ganga’s (The old one is closed but there is a new location just a few doors down). On the river side, at the end of West Street, there are quite a few cute coffee shops. Be on the look out (Locally grown beans).

Shopping - There are a lot of cute souvenir shops. Be sure to look out for the ¥8 store where everything costs ¥8. West street has 2 Minisos and an Adidas and Nike store. Many small clothing and tea shops.
