Founded by Zenyasu Adachi, a businessman from Yasugi City, Shimane Prefecture. About 2,000 pieces of ceramics and wood carvings are collected and released sequentially, focussing on collections of modern and contemporary Japanese paintings such as Yokoyama Daikan, Suho Takeuchi, Shoen Uemura, Sekiyuki Hashimoto, and Shiho Sakakibara. In particular, there are about 120 works by Yokoyama Daikan, and it is called the "Daikan Museum of Art". In the special exhibition room, you can always see about 20 large-scale works.

The Japanese garden is also wonderful, and in the garden ranking by the Japanese garden magazine in the United States, it has been the best in Japan since 2003. To surround the museum, the main garden is arranged with a dry landscape garden, a moss garden, a pond garden, etc., and the scale is 50,000 tsubo. The white sand blue pine garden, which was built with the image of Yokoyama Daikan's masterpiece, is famous.
