❣️Stepping into Xuanmen Bay Wetland Park, the crisp sound of a train whistle greets you first. A small white train chugs through the reeds, its windows framing layers of pale purple reed flowers, startling a few egrets into flight toward the blue sky.
Sunlight shatters into golden flakes on the water's surface as waterbirds tread ripples, their long beaks drawing circles when they dip to feed.
The vast flower fields are endlessly photogenic, while beige tents dot the grassy lawns. The wind lifts the corners of picnic blankets as children laugh with friends sprawled on them.
