Zhenyuan Ancient Town

Zhenyuan Ancient Town is a relatively quiet ancient town. Most tourists are Chinese, but it's not crowded, as it's relatively unknown to foreign tourists.

The highlight of the town is Qinglong Grottoes, or Green Dragon Grottoes. The highlight of this town is the ancient buildings built along the cliff face, known as the "Floating Monastery of Southern China," with a history spanning over 600 years.

Entrance to the ancient town is... free.

There is a shuttle bus (green vehicle) within the ancient town for 2 yuan per person. You can tell the driver where you're staying, and he'll drop you off right in front of your accommodation. Very convenient!
