Zhuhai's hidden gem affordable hotel, you'll love it after just one stay!

Zhuhai | St. Regis

In the stereotype, Macau hotels are often extremely luxurious and exquisite, and this St. Regis in Zhuhai perfectly fits that "Macau-style" luxury image. The magnificent golden lobby is quite stunning, with gold and marble elements combined like building blocks, creating a European-style St. Regis palace hidden within a modern building. Check-in is handled on the 42nd floor. The public area scores 7.65.

🧹Soundproofing/Cleanliness:
The overall hygiene of the hotel is good, the environment is clean, providing guests with a comfortable stay. The soundproofing is also quite effective, ensuring quiet rest.

🏘️Room Type/Layout:
The rooms perform well overall, scoring 7.7/10. The hotel is very new, the suites are visually appealing, and the layout is reasonable, meeting guests' needs.

🛌Amenities/Facilities:
The B&O speakers in the room are a big highlight and add a lot of value; the TV supports screen casting, which is uncommon in luxury hotels and very convenient. The minibar has a complete set of glasses, including whiskey glasses, wine glasses, and lowball glasses, and the tea set is very exquisite. However, there are some shortcomings in bathroom amenities: the plastic comb and toothbrush feel cheap, the lotion has an unpleasant scent, and the Vidal Sassoon hairdryer stops working automatically after a short time, affecting the bathroom experience.

💗Other Tips:

- Service: Scores 8.3/10, no major issues from check-in to check-out. The butler service is thoughtful; when a mask was mentioned casually, although the hotel didn’t have any, the butler went to a pharmacy to buy one. However, the turndown service could be improved—regardless of the number of guests, slippers were only placed on one side, and charging cables were not neatly tied.
- Breakfast: Scores 7.1/10, slightly lacking compared to the St. Regis brand. There were no juice glasses initially; after asking, other cups were provided; the tableware was an unpopular blue color. However, the orange juice and noodles were quite good.
- Location: Scores 7.7/10, with basic amenities nearby like McDonald's, Starbucks, and Pizza Hut, but the surrounding facilities are not very complete. It is about 10 km from Zhuhai city center. This location is more advantageous if you plan to cross over to Macau the next day.

Overall, the stay experience is quite good, with a total score of 7.69. But there are noticeable weaknesses, and various details still need refinement. It’s suitable for a hotel check-in on the last day of a Zhuhai trip and worth staying at.
