Disappointed by the Lack of Fungal Growth"
Given the theme was "Bio-Hazard Bloom," I was hoping for more spectacular use of fake mold, fungi, and unnatural botanical growth inside the domes. While there were some cool plant props, the sets generally relied on lab equipment and scientist actors. I wanted to see massive, pulsating mushroom spores or vines that looked genuinely aggressive and alien. The event was more about the people infected by the plants, rather than the plants themselves, which felt like a missed opportunity to leverage the unique aesthetic of a botanical garden taken over by a monster flora.
