The Water Lily Pad Scene Was Poetic Horror"
One particularly memorable moment was the scene set around the large outdoor lily pond. The entire area was covered in thick, low-lying fog, and they projected distorted, greenish images onto the mist rising from the water. A pale figure, dressed in lab whites, was half-submerged among the lily pads, gently reaching out. It was a very poetic, melancholy form of horror—more beautiful than terrifying—that demonstrated the variety of scares offered. It was a visual masterpiece that offered a brief, eerie respite before the intensity of the tunnel section.
