.. Wat Chet Yot is a third-class royal temple, common type, located on Chet Yot Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District, Chiang Rai Province.

.. In the construction of Wat Chet Yot, it is assumed that this temple was built during the Lanna Kingdom or before King Mangrai established Chiang Rai. Later, it was abandoned after the invasion by Burma.

.. Until the reign of King Nangklao, Rama III, Wat Chet Yot was renovated again.

.. Inside the temple, you can worship the Buddha image in the chapel and see the Chet Yot pagoda, beautiful Lanna architecture.
