Wat Klang Wiang
.. is a temple and historical site in Chiang Rai Province, located on Utrakit Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang Chiang Rai District.

The principal Buddha image.. a stucco Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture, originally in the Tai Khun style of art. Later, it was renovated by building over the original image in the Lanna style, covered with gold leaf all over the image, called "Phra Chao Phet Mongkhon Muni".

The Vihara.. was newly built in 1991. It is an applied Lanna architecture. The staircase is in the shape of a naga serpent spitting out from the mouth of a serpent. There are statues of a lion and a pair of Tung Kradang.

The Chedi.. was originally the Pancha Mahathat Chedi. In 1996, an elephant-supported Chedi was built to cover the Pancha Mahathat Chedi, decorated with many Buddha images in niches. The base of the chedi is surrounded by decorated elephants. The base supports an octagonal bell-shaped body, tall base, and small bell.
