This is a temple that most people don't know much about, but it is an ancient temple that has been with Chiang Rai since the city was founded. It was built by Chao Nang Talamae Sri, the consort of King Mengrai the Great, who was the daughter of the Burmese king. Therefore, it has a unique Burmese and Lanna style that is more beautiful than other temples in Chiang Rai. This temple also has an ancient well that was used to feed the city of Chiang Rai in the past. There is also a wooden chapel that is the only one left in Chiang Rai. There is also Phra That Ming Mueang, which was originally entirely in Burmese style. Later, it was renovated and Lanna style art was added. Inside, there are also relics of the Lord Buddha and the history of the temple. If you go to Chiang Rai, don't forget to stop by to pay homage to the relics of the Lord Buddha. #VisitChiangRai #WatMingMueang #VisitNorth #VisitThailand
