🥟 Must-try dim sum restaurant in Guangzhou: Tao Tao Ju ❤️

🥟 Tao Tao Ju Dim Sum is another dim sum restaurant that's a must-try when visiting Guangzhou. It's a long-established and renowned restaurant, and the atmosphere offers a classic, old-world Chinese feel, just like you're in a real Chinese restaurant.

🤩 The dim sum menu here offers a wide selection of dumplings, including shumai (steamed dumplings), har gow (steamed buns), rice noodle rolls, and various fried items. The flavors are well-balanced, with fresh ingredients, and they're served piping hot in traditional steamed baskets. The shrimp dumplings are springy, the har gow (steamed buns) have thin, dense fillings, and the creamy buns are sweet and creamy. Finally, a cup of fragrant hot tea helps cut through the richness.

😊 The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu has English and pictures, perfect for tourists like us.

📍 Location: There are several branches, but we ate at the Beijing Lu branch, located in a shopping mall right off the metro on the 7th floor.

❤️ For dim sum in Guangzhou, I personally prefer Tao Tao Ju. The har gow (steamed buns) and rice noodle rolls are excellent.

‼️ It's recommended to avoid dining during peak hours. Because there will be a lot of people, like a lot, and the wait is incredibly long. Or you can come and get your spot in advance and come back later.
