🚗 Transportation
• Driving by yourself:
Take National Highway 3, exit at Guanxi Interchange, take Provincial Highway 3, and turn onto Roma Highway (Hsinchu County Highway 118). It takes about 30 minutes to arrive. 
• Public Transportation:
Take the Taiwan Railway to Hsinchu Station, transfer to Hsinchu Bus to Guanxi, and then take a taxi.

📝 Personal experience

Mawudu Discovery Forest is located in Guanxi Township, Hsinchu County, covering an area of ​​about 450 hectares, with an altitude of 600 to 1,300 meters. It is a low-development virgin forest area. The park has rich ecological resources, including tropical and temperate plants, forming a special phenomenon of "ecological northward migration". 

The trails in the park are designed to be suitable for people of all ages, including the Vitality Trail, the Bayberry Trail, the Bamboo Forest Trail, etc. Along the way, you can enjoy the 30-40-year-old Metasequoia forest, and have the opportunity to meet the 300-500-year-old Bayberry trees "Yangmei Grandpa" and "Yangmei Grandma". 

In addition, the "Green Light Primary School" in the park is the filming scene of the idol drama "Green Light Forest". It retains the wooden house buildings of that time and has become a popular photo-taking spot. 

Mawudu Forest Discovery is not only suitable for families, but also a great place for nature lovers and photography enthusiasts. It is recommended to wear light clothing and non-slip shoes, bring enough water, and enjoy a close contact with nature.
