After the exciting trip to Kumamoto is over, the next stop is Kagoshima City in Southern Kyushu. I originally planned to take the JR Tamatehako sightseeing train to Ibusuki for a one-day trip, but heavy rains two days ago caused the train to be suspended, so I had to temporarily adjust the itinerary and turn it into a one-day trip to Kagoshima city.

I bought a two-day city view ticket, which allows you to ride unlimited trams, buses and Sakurajima Ferry. It costs 1,800 yen, but in fact, the one-day ticket is enough 😂

The first itinerary was at Seonam Garden, which is most famous for being the filming location of the Taihe drama Atsuhime, as well as tasting the local delicacy Yangbangbian. Since we haven’t had brunch yet, we went directly to the excellent Yinghuatei restaurant! Jiugongge's Japanese cuisine, all the ingredients are very fresh, including sea bream, tempura and exquisite snacks. It is a highly recommended restaurant!

After that, I also tried two stick cakes and green tea, which is a must-try snack in Kagoshima Prefecture. Use two bamboo skewers to skewer mochi and drizzle it with sweet soy sauce or miso.

After all the children have eaten, we will slowly visit the Xianyan Garden. I will share it next🥰
