Praying and asking for blessings at the shrine | Kamakura ⛩️🏮

Today, we will take everyone to worship and pray at Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine in Kamakura! ⛩️

Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine is one of the most important shrines in Kamakura. It was built almost a thousand years ago and is home to the god Hachiman, the god of war. People who come to worship here usually pray for blessings in matters of study, work, business, and health. 🙏🏻

To enter the shrine, you must walk through a large torii gate and cross a bridge over a pond to enter the shrine. Climb 61 steps to reach the shrine located on the hill.

After you have finished worshipping and praying to the gods, there is a museum in the shrine grounds, a collection of antiques, and a shop selling amulets that you can buy to worship and bring good fortune. 🎐
