[Wakayama] Kongobu-ji Temple, founded by Kobo Daishi

I went to Kongobu-ji Temple, one of the two major tourist spots in Mount Koya. It is a sacred place of Esoteric Shingon Buddhism founded by Kobo Daishi, and is also the head temple of the Koyasan Shingon sect.

When I visited in mid-April, the cherry blossoms were in full bloom, making it the perfect place for a recommended cherry blossom viewing🌸

Admission fee: Junior high school students and above: 1,000 yen, elementary school students: 300 yen, preschoolers: free
