Kifune Shrine,

This is Kifune Shrine. It is a shrine in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, and is one of Kyoto's most famous tourist spots.

The symbol of the shrine is the lanterns lined up on the stairs at the entrance! ✨ The red lanterns lined up in a row surrounded by the fresh greenery of early summer are mysterious, and it feels like you're in the world of Ghibli (lol)

Basically, you can take beautiful photos all year round. It's beautiful regardless of the time of day♪ The basic business hours are 6:00-18:00.

It also seems that limited-time illuminations are held every year in all seasons. The most recent Tanabata illuminations are scheduled to be held from Thursday, July 1, 2021 to Sunday, August 15, 2021. The hours are from sunset to 20:00.

Access: Take the Kyoto Bus from the bus stop in front of the station at Kokusai Kaikan Station on the Karasuma Subway Line to Kifuneguchi, then take the Kyoto Bus to Kifune, get off and walk for 5 minutes.

Even though it's in Kyoto City, it's located deep in the mountains, so it's not very accessible.
