Kifune Shrine, Kyoto

Kifune Shrine in Kyoto is a beautiful shrine in itself, but the combination of illuminated autumn leaves and snow-covered stairs is particularly breathtaking. You can also feel the long history of Kyoto. The god of water is enshrined here, and you can even try fortune-telling by water.
To get there, you need to take a bus and a train from Kyoto city, which takes a little time, but it's definitely worth a visit, so be sure to bring your camera and check it out. Just be sure to watch your step when it snows.
