Located in Furukawa Shopping Street in Higashiyama, Kyoto City, "Kyoyama Foods" is a small deli shop run by a couple for over 60 years. Inside the shop, you'll find oden made with a gentle flavor based on kombu and bonito broth, along with a variety of handmade side dishes. The oden is a seasonal offering available from October to March, featuring carefully prepared ingredients such as gyoza tempura, flat tempura, and burdock tempura.

The shop also offers a popular brown rice bento made with organic vegetables for 690 yen, which is loved by locals.

Operating hours are from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with Sundays and public holidays as regular closing days. Conveniently located just a short walk from Higashiyama Station on the Kyoto Subway Tozai Line, it's an ideal spot to visit during your sightseeing.
