Kyoto Kifune Shrine

Kifune Shrine is located in Sakyo Ward, Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture.

Though it's far from Kyoto Station, it's located in the mountains and is a popular shrine, especially among women, as a power spot for matchmaking.

One of the most popular things at this shrine is the "water fortune telling."
By floating a fortune slip in the holy water that springs from the stone wall,
you can see the contents of the fortune slip float up, which is fun.
