[Okinawa] Naminoue Shrine, built on a coral reef and protected by shisa

Naminoue Shrine in Naha City, Okinawa Prefecture is a shrine located a 10-minute walk from the Yui Rail Prefectural Office Station.

In the precincts, there are shisa instead of lion dogs, and palm trees, giving it a very Okinawan feel.

The shrine seen from the opposite bridge across the sea is unique and very beautiful.

Izanami-no-Mikoto is enshrined as one of the deities, so it is also famous as a shrine for love fulfillment! It is a power spot for love♡

It is an easy shrine to access even without a car, so be sure to visit it when you are sightseeing in Okinawa :)
