Regent Hotel is a 5-star hotel, and I was able to receive 200,000 won with the Taiwan accommodation subsidy and only pay an additional fee, so it was a very satisfying accommodation for the price!
The hotel itself feels like a department store, and there are restaurants and luxury stores inside, so the service is good.
The old-fashioned interior hallway and analog keys were emotional.
The spacious interior and clean marble bathroom were especially impressive! After my trip to Taiwan, I returned to the hotel, took a half-body bath, and was able to relax and sleep well. I recommend it.

Danshui Hongmaoqing

It was raining when I went, but it stopped quickly and I was able to take pictures under the clear sky.
Hongmaoqing was a building built by the Dutch army that drove out Spain in 1624. It is said that the name comes from the nickname 'red-haired barbarians' used by the Dutch at the time, and it means 'Redhead Fortress (Hongmaoqing, 紅毛城)'. After the Opium War, the British government leased it as a consulate, and due to that influence, it is a great place to see because it has a mixture of Dutch and British architectural styles.
The interior is decorated with actual furniture that was used, so it was nice to appreciate, and as the name Hongmaoqing suggests, the red exterior of the building looks great in pictures!! I hope you go there and take pictures.
