Turi Beach Resort

#batamtrip The beach resort is scenic and peaceful, which is good for a relaxing getaway. Nongsa beach is quite empty, but it is not very comfortable due to lots of rocks and some rubbish along the beach.

The room we stayed in was quite large and comfortable for 2 people. However, we encountered many lizards even on/behind the beds and in the washroom. There was a cockroach which came out of the drain in the toilet too. At night, there are the sounds of bats outside the room and mosquitoes are to be expected due to the climate.

We had a mini fridge in the room, a very small TV and a Nespresso machine but no capsules are provided. They provide 2 small bottles of water and room service. Shower soap is very limited with no proper shampoo, advised to bring your own.

There is a buggy service throughout the resort which is useful for check-in and check-out. Breakfast service was alright but the food is just normal. The omelette chef gave us a rude attitude when we asked for more pieces, but then he gave 4 pieces to another guest. The preferential treatment is weird and unprofessional.

There is a crowded swimming pool at the resort too, but didn’t get a chance to try due to the crowdedness. Most of the other staff were polite, but nothing special.
