[Oita Prefectural Art Museum (OPAM)]
I went to see "Hokusai and Hiroshige: The Challenge of Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, from the Edo-Tokyo Museum Collection".
This is the only place in Kyushu where it is held😊
The building, designed by world-renowned architect Shigeru Ban,
is covered in glass on one side, giving it a sense of openness⭐️
It is said to be inspired by Oita's traditional craft, "bamboo craft".
The large lighting is made of cloth💡
It is a place where you can enjoy art outside of the exhibition room, such as giant balloon works❤️
The purpose of the exhibition, Hokusai and Hiroshige: The Challenge of Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji, focuses on the "challenge" of landscape painting by masters of landscape printmaking, Katsushika Hokusai and Utagawa Hiroshige✨
A total of 46 illustrations of "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" will be on display in the first and second periods, centering on masterpieces such as "Thirty-six Views of Mount Fuji" and "The Fifty-three Stations of the Tokaido"!
There were many exhibits, and it was a wonderful and exciting exhibition with plenty to see🙏
You can take photos except for some of them📷
