Located in Tennoji Park, this zoo is one of the oldest in Japan and home to over 1,000 animals, including lions, elephants, and polar bears. One of the highlights is the African Savannah exhibit, where giraffes and zebras roam in a setting that closely resembles their natural habitat. The zoo is well-maintained and compact, making it a great spot for families with young children. Since it’s next to Shinsekai and Tsutenkaku Tower, you can easily combine it with other attractions in the area. If you love animals and want a break from the city’s busy streets, Tennoji Zoo is a great choice.
