Tennoji Zoo (てんうじどうぶつえん) is located in Tennoji Park in Tennoji Ward, Osaka City, Japan. It is the Osaka City Zoo, having opened on January 1, 1915 (Taisho 4), making it Japan's third zoo. Spanning approximately 11 hectares, the zoo houses approximately 230 species and 1,000 animals from diverse ecological zones, including the African savannah, Asian jungles, and the Arctic.

🕒 Opening Hours and Ticket Prices
• Opening Hours: Daily 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Last admission 4:00 PM). Open until 6:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays in May and September (Last admission 5:00 PM).
• Closed: Mondays (If Mondays fall on national holidays, the next weekday will be the day after).
• Ticket Price: Adults (ages 18 and up) 500 yen, Elementary and Junior High School Students 200 yen.
