Ancient History

Ayutthaya is a wonderful historical haven a short hop from Bangkok.

It is an ancient site visited by millions who wish to pay respect and soak in the wonder. Most people cycle around and explore in their own time, and there usually coaches of Chinese who arrive.

Highlights include the reclining Budda, the temple ruins and the Buddha head in the banyan tree. It's a great area to just walk and explore and enjoy fresh air and sunshine
