Makomanai Takino Cemetery is actually a super relaxing place. Located in the south of Sapporo, Hokkaido, it is the largest landscape cemetery in Hokkaido, with attractions such as Moai statues, Stonehenge, the Great Buddha Head, and a water garden.
When you come here, you will definitely be shocked by the huge "Moai statue" 🗿, which will make you unable to help but take a few more glances. Its huge head and mysterious expression really have a charm that makes you want to stop and take pictures. Next is the "Big Buddha Head" which is extremely huge. It looks like a quiet and peaceful Buddha statue, giving people a strong sense of calmness. Peaceful
There is also a hidden beauty spot, which is the water garden. This water garden is like a shining pearl in the cemetery, adding more tranquility and natural beauty to the whole place.
Stonehenge is also quite spectacular. When you stand among these stones, you can feel the insignificance of human beings even more.
This attraction is not easy to reach, but if you happen to have a rental car, you can arrange it into your itinerary!
