Extremely rare! Moai statues in the snow

Located in Takino Cemetery in Makomanai, Sapporo.

The largest moai statue is 9.5 meters tall, and the smallest is 6.5 meters tall, making for an impressive sight.

In summer, this spot offers a spectacular view of a carpet of green and blue skies.

There is only a parking lot at the entrance, so you will need to walk a little.

In winter, the sidewalk disappears, so be careful of your car.

This spot is full of other attractions that you would never expect to see in a cemetery, such as a giant head Buddha, lavender fields surrounding the Buddha, a water garden with beautiful tranquil water, Stonehenge, and the chic Rotunda Cafe.
