Shanghai lanterns

Chinese lanterns, also known as lanterns among the people, have a history of nearly two thousand years and are a traditional folk handicraft originated in China.
In 2008, "Shanghai Lanterns" was included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage expansion projects. Lantern art embodies the ingenuity and ingenuity of the Chinese nation. It integrates abstract composition, pseudo-sculpture, two-dimensional calligraphy and painting, composite decoration and light-driven mechanisms. It is a comprehensive space art with strong national characteristics.
