Shenzhen's urban vibe is always captivating. This time, staying at Qingneng Chutian Hotel near Futian Port was a hidden gem! ✨ The hotel not only has a fantastic location but also a decor style that perfectly matches my aesthetic—every snap looks like an Instagram-worthy shot~
🏙️ Perfect Location for the Lazy Traveler
• 5-minute walk to Futian Port, making spontaneous trips to Hong Kong for shopping a breeze
• Within 1 km to the Convention and Exhibition Center, a blessing for business travelers
• Huanggangcun Station on Metro Line 7 is right downstairs, and Futian Port Station on Line 4 is a 10-minute walk
• Night owl’s paradise: right across the hotel is Shuiwei Village Food Street, highly recommend the Chaoshan beef hotpot after 10 PM!
🛏️ Stay in a Design-Filled "Urban Oasis"
• The room colors are super sophisticated! Morandi gray walls + wooden furniture, with ambient lighting on the headboard that turns the room into a photo studio at night
• Found a thoughtful surprise: double-layer curtains! Blackout curtains + sheer curtains combo, perfect for daytime naps without any disturbance
• Family rooms come with a small tent and picture books, perfect for families with kids
🤖 High-Tech Service Experience
• The robot delivery is adorable! Tried having mineral water delivered to the room, and it even cutely said, "Remember to give a five-star review"
• Plenty of free parking spaces, great for self-driving guests (can you believe parking fees in Shenzhen can be more expensive than the room?)
• The room fridge has free drinks, including Shenzhen locals’ favorite Morning Light herbal tea
🍳 Nearby Food Guide
• Must-try downstairs: Luckin Coffee’s sauce-flavored latte (don’t ask why it’s recommended)
• Popular spots on Shuiwei Village Food Street: Hong Kong Xinfa Roast Meat Tea Restaurant, Baheli Beef Hotpot
• For upscale diners, a 10-minute walk to Huangting Plaza offers places like the Chua Lam dim sum specialty store, and you can browse MUJI while waiting
📸 Top Photo Spots Revealed
1. Lobby spiral staircase: overhead shots of geometric lines are stunning
2. Room floor-to-ceiling windows: use Shenzhen CBD as the backdrop for your morning robe photos
3. Elevator mirror design: selfies here make your legs look 2 meters long
⚠️ Practical Tips
• Recommend choosing a high-floor room for better views and quieter surroundings
• Avoid staying during the Canton Fair period; prices can be twice as high
The biggest surprise this time was getting 800+ quality for just over 300 in price. I’ll definitely book again next time I visit Shenzhen!
