Travelogue of Huanglong Scenic Area near Chengdu

Chengdu Suburb Travel
Take a train from Chengdu to Jiuzhaigou.
Stay overnight in Jiuzhaigou and take a bus to Huanglong Scenic Area the next morning. (Bus Trip.com reservation)

After getting off at Huanglong Scenic Area, take a shuttle bus to the cable car station. You can walk up after taking the cable car, but I took a minibus.

After getting off the bus and following the people, you will come across Wuchai Pond. Maybe it is because it is a high mountain, but it is quite a distance. You may need an oxygen tank, so prepare one in advance or buy one at the store.

I didn't realize it was difficult because of the beauty of Wuchai Pond. The snow-covered scenery is also spectacular.

You can take a cable car down after looking around Wuchai Pond, but I walked. It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to come down, but it is quite tiring. I think it is because it is a high mountain, so I definitely didn't have the strength. I feel a little stronger after eating the chocolate cookies I prepared.

Then I came down and ate at a nearby restaurant, took the bus I reserved, went to the train station, and arrived in Chengdu by train.

If you go to Chengdu, I also recommend a trip to the suburbs of Chengdu.
