Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine

Let's go travel and take our friends to pay homage at the Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine.
When visiting Surat Thani, you must not miss praying for good fortune.

The Surat Thani City Pillar Shrine is an ancient Srivijaya architecture with historical traces of the Srivijaya Kingdom that has flourished since ancient times until today. It is another tourist attraction that is clearly visible from afar because it is a white concrete pavilion designed in the Srivijaya style, similar to the Phra Borommathat Chaiya, the main pillar of the city. The top of the pillar is carefully carved from a large Ratchaphruek tree, carved in the Srivijaya style. On top are the four faces of the Bodhisattva Avalokiteshvara, facing all four directions. The hair on the bun is carved as a Buddha statue in a meditation posture, beautifully lacquered and gilded.

If anyone comes to visit Surat Thani, don't forget to stop by to pay homage and pray.
