OFF TO ANPING DISTRICT, TAINAN

I was able to visit Tainan thanks to a school-admin trip! After the official duties, I broke away from the group and roamed around Anping — DIY again.

What I did:
👣First Night
📍Self check-in at Tainan Here Hostel Anping (booked via Trip.com)
👣Walk around the area, and visited
📍Navy Destroyer Deyang Ship Park
📍Lin Mo-niang Park
📍Historic Harborside Park Park
📍Anping Fisherman's Wharf
🛥️Took a night boat Tour at Anping Fisherman’s Wharf (NTD 300-500)
🚌 Took a bus back to the hostel

Next Day
🔑Checked out of the hostel
👣Walked to the bus stop -- but since the bus was taking too long, I booked an Uber taxi instead (NTD 75)
📍ANPING TREE HOUSE
--- Explored the area – it’s amazing how the trees have intertwined with the buildings
--- Tried the wasabi rice crackers at 安平樹屋咖啡館 (the cafe inside - they also sell ice cream)

📍ANPING OLD STREET
--- Trinkets here and there
--- Food here and there

📍ANPING OLD FORT (aka Fort Zeelandia)
--- checked out the Zeelandia City Museum
--- was amazed at this old remnant of Taiwan City Wall (what if I get transported to another time when I touch it?)
--- Roamed in it and explored the history of the place
--- Bought some souvenirs at the gift shop inside (Zeelandia Store)
