My Solo Itinerary:

· Morning – The Mountain Ascent: My day began with a bus ride from Takahashi Station to the castle trailhead. I chose the shorter, steeper hiking path, a vigorous 20-30 minute climb through a serene cedar forest. The final approach, through ancient stone gates and walls, built anticipation with every step. · Afternoon – Descent & Samurai Town: After soaking in the atmosphere, I descended to the charming castle town of Takahashi. I explored the preserved Samurai District with its white-walled residences and visited the Raikyū-ji Temple known for its beautiful garden. I refueled with local Takahashi ramen before heading back.
