Feiyun Tower is a Yuan and Ming style building, with dense dougong and exquisite design, and is known as the "Southern Tower and Northern Pagoda" along with the Wooden Pagoda in Ying County. As a representative of the architectural complex in Dongyue Temple in Jiedian Town, Feiyun Tower is known as "Wanrong has a Jiedian Tower, half of which is inserted into the sky."
The uniqueness of Feiyun Tower lies in its use of mortise and tenon structure, with the wood itself not covered with paint, showing the most authentic color. There are three layers of alternating light and dark inside the building, with four pillars reaching the top of the building, and 32 cypress trees around it supporting the entire building in a checkerboard pattern.
