LIV Beach day club - David Guetta 25th May

Hi - just wondering if anyone has any experience of LIV beach club. Going for David Guetta on 25 May and booked general admission tickets, coming from the UK so also unaware what Vegas is like during memorial day weekend.

Should we arrive for 11:30 when it opens if we have tickets? Im expecting drink prices to be insane and to not be anywhere near the front ha!

That sounds like a fantastic trip! LIV Beach Club is one of the top beach clubs in Las Vegas, and David Guetta's performance will be an unforgettable experience. Here's everything you need to know to make the most of your day:

Arriving at LIV Beach Club: Memorial Day weekend in Las Vegas is one of the busiest times of the year, with tourists flocking to the city for the extended weekend and major events like pool parties and music performances. Since you've got general admission tickets, arriving around 11:30 AM when the doors open is a good idea. This will give you time to settle in, find a good spot, and avoid the longer lines that typically form later in the day. Keep in mind, LIV Beach Club can get packed, especially for popular events like David Guetta’s performance.

Drink Prices: You’re right—drink prices at pool clubs in Vegas can be quite steep. Expect to pay anywhere from $15 to $25 for cocktails, and possibly higher if you're ordering premium drinks or bottles. For general admission, the bars are typically crowded, so if you're looking to avoid long lines, consider buying a drink package (if available) to streamline your experience.

Getting Close to the Front: If you're aiming to get near the front to see David Guetta up close, it can be challenging, especially with general admission. It’s not impossible, but the closer you are to the front, the more crowded it will be. VIP or table service tickets usually offer better access to prime spots. However, arriving early and staking out a good spot by the stage or near the DJ booth might give you a chance to get closer, especially in the first couple of hours before the crowd builds.

What to Expect on Memorial Day Weekend: Vegas during Memorial Day weekend is a whole different vibe. The pool parties, day clubs, and nightclubs are buzzing with people from all over the world. Expect large crowds, loud music, and a high-energy atmosphere. It's a great time to be in the city if you want to experience the ultimate Las Vegas party scene, but it can also be overwhelming if you’re not prepared for the chaos. Here are a few tips to help you enjoy the weekend:

  • Hydrate: It gets incredibly hot in Vegas during May, so stay hydrated, especially if you're going to be partying in the sun.
  • Dress Comfortably: LIV Beach Club has a casual, beachy vibe, but make sure to wear something comfortable. You’ll likely be standing or dancing for long periods, so wear shoes that won’t leave you aching.
  • Plan for Crowds: Memorial Day weekend means crowds everywhere, so expect long lines for drinks, bathrooms, and entry. Be patient and enjoy the atmosphere!
  • Food: While some day clubs offer food, it can be limited and expensive. Consider grabbing a bite before you arrive or be prepared to spend a little extra if you're looking for snacks at the venue.

Summary: Yes, arriving around 11:30 AM when LIV Beach Club opens is a smart move, and drink prices will definitely be high (around $15-$25 per drink, possibly more). While general admission might not get you right in front, it’s still worth it for the experience. Just be ready for big crowds, and make sure to stay hydrated while having a great time at David Guetta's set!
