How to get around: metro network is amazingly efficient. Consider buying T-family multi-member set of 8 pass if travelling with family so that you can all use the one card to tap on and save!
Must-see attractions: Park Güell, Segrada Familia, Hospital de Sant Pau, Casa Mila, Gothic quarters
Hotel guide: stay around gothic quarters or if you prefer to roomier place then Aura Park Fira Aparthotel is just on the outskirts and offers great way to get in and around town.
Food guide: can’t go wrong with tapas and pintxos. If you want to try something high end and celebrity infused - try Botafumeiro (close to Casa Vicens Gaudí so can tag it with a visit to this Guadi classic)
Shopping guide: La Roco Village outlet, try Spanish brands as they are better value there, like Loewe, etc.
Zara and Mango are all street names and local.
