📍Wat Phra Kaew, Chiang Rai, is located in Chiang Rai Municipality on Trairat Road, Wiang Subdistrict, Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.
📒 It is an ancient and important temple in Chiang Rai. It was originally called Wat Pa Ya or Wat Pa Yia because of the abundance of Yia trees, a type of bamboo, within the temple grounds.
