What is Erhai Lake?

Erhai Lake, located in Dali, in Yunnan Province, southwestern China, is one of the largest highland freshwater lakes in China. Its name means "Ear-shaped Sea" because of its shape, and it sits at an altitude of about 1,972 meters (6,470 ft) above sea level.
