Enoshima Island, Japan

In this beautiful island located off the coast of Kamakura there is a handful of things you can do on your day trip, starting with this beautifully decorated cafe called ‘sun cafe’.

After eating a pizza with tiny fish on (it’s the specialty there) you can make your way to the Enoshima shrine.

Afterwards, Enoshima Samuel Cocking Garden has some beautiful views over the sea.

The walk to the next stop, Enoshima Iwaya Cave, is beautiful with constant views as you pass multiple shops, restaurants and cafes along the way.

Just before you reach the cave there is a shore with rocks where you can take pictures or stop and appreciate the scenic sea view.

When you reach the cave you get painted lanterns to help you explore it and also some wishes you can write and attach to a tree at the end as a tradition.

Overall Enoshima island was stunning and i am counting down the days i can go back and re visit it!
