The golf course in Guilin that was shut down has been transformed into a stunningly beautiful leisure park!

Guihai Qinglan is located in Qixing District, Guilin, about 5 kilometers from the city center. Its picturesque scenery includes Guilin’s unique rolling peaks, lakes, and white ponds. These landforms cleverly blend nature with recreational activities, making it a uniquely scenic spot adjacent to Guilin’s urban area.

The park offers a rich variety of landscapes and activities, including a mountain and water aesthetic lifestyle pavilion, a camping base, hot air balloon experiences, and water sports facilities.

It is said that Guihai Qinglan was originally planned to be developed into a golf course, but due to project adjustments, it eventually evolved into the leisure park it is today. The abundant entertainment facilities and activities provide a multifunctional recreational experience. The wide lawns, clear lakes, and the white stone ponds typical of golf courses together create a one-of-a-kind leisure destination in Guilin.

Guihai Qinglan is named after Guihai, a sea surrounded by more than 200 rolling peaks, with a poetic meaning. This beautiful scenery stretches from Guilin to Haiyang Township in Lingchuan.

The name “Qinglan” is taken from “Guiling Qinglan,” the top of Guilin’s “Old Eight Sceneries,” depicting the fairyland of Guiling after the rain clears, with overlapping peaks, lush greenery gently fluttering, and bright rocky ravines deeply dyed like silk gauze. At this moment, though there is no rain, under the warm late autumn sun, Guihai Qinglan looks like a giant landscape painting slowly unfolding.
