Churaumi Aquarium🐟

It is located in the Ocean Expo Park, about a 2-hour drive from Naha Airport, and parking is free!!
Admission fee is 2,180 yen for adults
Personally, it is the best aquarium in Japan☝️!!

The opening time is very early, from 8:30 in the morning, so I recommend going when it is still a little cooler.
Even so, the outside area is extremely hot, so
hydration is essential!! 💦

The Okinawa-like "Coral Sea" exhibit is similar to other aquariums, but compared to those, this is a very beautiful tank with colorful fish swimming under a much brighter light.
And of course, the main attraction is the huge tank with whale sharks and manta rays swimming in it.
I was surprised at how big it was, even compared to the divers (staff) inside‼ ️.
There was also a black manta ray, which is rare to see even in the natural ocean.

I also saw an adorable manatee eating cabbage with its hands!! ☺️✨

As the aquarium is also a research facility, there were many academic exhibits.
I was particularly surprised at the number of new species discovered here.
I definitely want to go to this aquarium again♪🐟
