Nanjing Niushou Mountain - Foding Palace and Pagoda

A sightseeing trip to Nanjing is incomplete without a visit to the following super insta worthy and famous Niushou Mountain 牛首山 and the Buddha Foding Palace and Pagoda 佛顶宫/塔 at the peak !

Opening Hours : 0830 to 1730 hours
Duration : Expect to spend 2-3 hours here

Get to the peak and marvel at the majestic and holy Buddhist infrastructure as well a panoramic view of the surrounding ! Truly captivating !

There's a shuttle bus service (not free) from entrance to the starting point of the mountain climb. Then it's a real hearty up hill walk for devotees or you can simply take the escalators along the way.

Fortunately there's quite a few kiosks/pitstops where we can rest and grab some snacks / beverages. You can even grab a Starbucks or Haagen Dazs at entry point !
